Aim for jeans that have smaller pockets, sat medium high and semi-wide on your butt. The denim needs to stretch and give, so only look at jeans that have Lycra (or similar) woven into the material. Stiff jeans will only flatten your butt further, so avoid classic cut denim at all costs. And it’s worth investing in jeans that have a waistline that’s average.
A pair of low waisters will only reduce the size of your butt to the eye – and the point is to project ‘more’ – not less. A big butt needs treating much the same way as we do when we want to minimize a large chest. Therefore you need to think right size, in order to create ‘smaller’. Meaning – correctly fitting jeans will go a long way toward reducing the size of an ample booty.
You need to buy jeans that are higher on the waist – no low risers, they’re simply non-flattering. Go for the type that have a larger 'yoke'. This gives a better coverage across the small of the back. Pockets are great but try and aim for those with a little detail on them, and make sure they're sat close together. Widely placed pockets add to width - so avoid widely spaced ones. And as with a flat butt, don’t buy stiff denim, it needs some give whilst allowing you to feel comfortable and ‘contained’.
You might look good standing but you need to think about when you’re sitting. Jeans that cut into your waist line or won’t adjust when you sit will simply ride down – exposing a bit more than you’ll have bargained for. If you've got a few extra curves, take a look at Gap - they do some great, reasonably priced styles, as do the House Of Dereon - great jeans at great prices.

There are quite a few styles currently on the market that are specifically tailored to enhance a butt that lacks an important detail … the butt itself. First of all, you need to aim for interesting elements – embroidery and embellishments on the back pockets.
We’re talking unusual designs on the pocket flaps, buttons and detailed stitching. Wide spaced pockets to create the illusion of curves. Low rise jeans are a great style and look for the type with a faded seat area – basically butt-creating details. Again, as with the flat butts (sorry for the terminology … ) don’t buy stiff jeans. Aim for the Lycra type as they will allow for movement. You need to do a little alluring wiggling when you’re butt-less and stiff jeans just don’t cut it.
If you’ve got cash to splash then why not just spend some of your hard earned on dedicated butt enhancers? True Religion Joey jeans are said to do amazing things for a tiny butt, thought they retail at around $200 plus. Or check out the Gap range. Much easier on the bank balance and you could probably buy three pairs of Gap jeans to one pair of True Religion.

And the best jeans for my butt? By choice - Gap jeans. Currently I'm sat in a pair of old faded stiff denims. I know that classic denim isn't always the best thing for my curves ... but I can't help it. I love comfort and I've had mine long enough for them to have become molded to my shape, as well as a little thread bare.
Enjoy finding the perfect denims, no matter your budget. After all - what matters isn't so much the cost as the fit!

Feline - lol then either aim for low risers, as they sit below the waist and tend to fit better across the hips (as they should) or aim for a regular waisted pair. That way you can erm ... tuck it in?! ;)

I like this hub a lot. I've found the NYDJ (Not Your Daughters Jeans) to be the best 'butt-enhancing' jeans, regardless of what is embellished on the pockets.

Great timing on this Hub !! I plan on buying new jeans tomorrow because, well...my butt has changed since the last purchase. Hmmm...maybe all the extra walking and exercising I Have been doing??? I can only hope that is the case.

i'm a bubble butt kinda girl, and i think low-rise looks way better on me than even regular rise. its like low-rise was made for a bubble butt, it stops right above it rounding it out instead of trying to fake a flat butt with high waisted pants. who wants that?

Getting a perfect fitting jeans has always been a problem with me. I came across this web site where I could get the right size and specs for a perfect fitting jeans in five minutes. Ofcourse at a cost.

Levis makes great jeans , Ae makes great jeans , all the big names are usually great. Silver is a great jean for women who want a butt.

I have a very large butt, and in my experience you should do the excatly opposite of what they say. Buying high waisted jeans expands the look of the length of your backside, and makes it looks bigger, or more like 'mom butt.' Yikes, stay away.

Funny but good advice. There is just something about jean that bring out one person's body, isn't it ? When I was overweight, I used to avoid jean.
